Job Description:

Bistagne Bros Body Shop is seeking a reliable and motivated Body Shop Painter Helper to join our team. You’ll work alongside experienced painters to assist with vehicle prep, cleaning, masking, and assisting with the application of paint and primer.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings to exact specifications
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop
• Prepare and set up equipment, including spray guns and booths
• Assist with the application of paint and other finishes
• Perform basic repairs and touch-ups under supervision
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Support the painting team with any other tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience required, and a passion for cars and automotive repair is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols
• Previous experience in an auto body shop or automotive-related field is required
